Opened in 2005, The Real Food Café is now established as an iconic award winning roadside diner, serving breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner to thousands of visitors every year from near and far. Best known for our delicious, sustainably sourced Fish & Chips and as a Coeliac UK Accredited Caterer, our trusted gluten free Fish & Chips, we also serve a selection of homemade soups, healthy salads, vegan & vegetarian meals and a lot of homebaking! We work hard to source Scottish and sustainable produce whenever possible. We’re family friendly and welcome well behaved dogs. We have bike racks and an EV rapid car charger. If you are in a hurry, we have a Grab & Go Kiosk serving take away coffee, sandwiches and homebaking

This award winning road side diner on the A82 sits half way between Glasgow and Fort William and is very close to the West Highland Way. A great spot to stop and re-fuel!

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, we serve a delicious menu of locally sourced and homemade fast food, including: homemade soup, award-winning fish and chips, Scotch beef and venison burgers, healthy salads, a large selection of award-winning home baking and great organic and fair-trade coffee. We are alos liceneced and sell a selection of wine and Scottish craft beers and cider.

We offer an informal, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all. We do not take bookings except for larger groups and people with disablilities. We can be very busy on occasion but bear with us and we will get you seated and served within 20 minutes.

We are a Coeliac UK Accredited Caterer, with an A grade rating for our gluten free fish and chips, and a dedicated gluten free menu.

We welcome large groups, solo travellers, families and dogs with their well-behaved owners! Please also find our accessibility guide here.

For electric vehicle users, we have an EV charger in our car park, plus bike racks for cyclists, and a boot and paw wash for walkers.

Whether you are breaking your journey on the A82 or the West Highland Way, or staying in Tyndrum to make the most of the local Munros and Corbetts, we are a popular re-fuelling stop and we look forward to welcoming you.
