The Rosie's story began in 1994 with the opening of a cosy workshop where people who needed a little extra support in life came together to practice their work-skills by making (and then selling) beautiful hand-crafted goods. Customers loved the idea of buying goods from people who were helping their own recovery by making crafts, and where the profit went straight back into the charity.
Since then Rosie's has grown into a portfolio of successful, diverse and award-winning social businesses, where we hand-make our products with care. Our customers are attracted to us because of the quality, beauty and value of our goods as well as the care we offer each and every customer – but look closer and you will be amazed that our not-for-profit work involves supporting those who need extra employability support.
Our beautiful hand-made products are available to buy at Rosie's Framers and Crafts on Holburn Street Aberdeen, as well as Rosie's Cafe in Rosemount. There you will find a range of greetings cards and textile goods including tweed cushions and lots of other crafty delights. Rosie's also offers a bespoke, award winning wedding stationery service.
