The property is within a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and offers guests a great family holiday home with easy access to the North Highland routes.
All rooms are on the ground floor: The lounge is furnished with a large smart TV with Freeview channels, 2 x 3-seater settees, coffee table, sideboard and an electric fire. The kitchen/ dining area offers guests an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine, Bluetooth speaker, pots, pans and plenty of kitchenware. The dining table seats 6. The utility room consist of a washing machine, tumble drier, microwave oven, fridge/ freezer. Access to back garden. The master bedroom has a super king bed, bedside cabinets with lights, dressing table with mirror, wardrobe. En-suite bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside cabinets with lights, dressing table with wall mounted mirror and a wardrobe. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, bedside cabinets with lights, dressing table with light and wall mounted mirror and a wardrobe. The family bathroom has a bath, separate shower, wash hand basin and toilet. The garden/ outside area has a secure, fenced garden at the back of the house, mainly grass. Patio furniture. Washing line. Lockable shed for storing bikes and golf equipment. The front garden has gravel and grass with off-road private parking for up to 3 cars. There is an ironing board and iron and hairdryer. The house has electric heating throughout. Wi-Fi is included. Guests have access to the entire property.
There are several restaurants, bars and shops in Dornoch. Food shops: There is a Co-op and a convenience store in Dornoch. The Co-op is usually open until 10pm. Tesco, Asda and Lidl supermarkets are in Tain which is a few miles south of Dornoch. Restaurants: Luigi’s on Castle Street, Sutherland House, Links House, The Eagle Hotel, a few others also. Pubs: The Dornoch Inn, The Eagle Hotel, Castle Whisky Bar & Bistro, a few others. Takeaway food: Chinese, Indian, Harry Gow bakers. A car is recommended when staying in the Highlands (especially in the Dornoch area). Taxis operate 24 hours of the day. There is a bus stops in Dornoch that can take you North and South of Dornoch.
No smoking. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4 PM – 10 PM. Check out time is 10 am. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave, we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A starter pack of supplies: includes toilet rolls, complementary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.
