New Abbey is located 8 miles south of Dumfries and located on the Solway Coastal trail a truly unique part of Scotland, noted for its countryside and beaches. The area is an area of conservation.
The lodge offers guests a range of accommodation to suit all needs, singles, couples and families. A full range of facilities are on offer including use of private walled garden, seating areas, barbeque for use in the summer evenings, lounge, large conservatory, golf clubs. The lodge is ideal for walkers, nature lovers, golfers with highly regarded courses nearby. A range of sporting activities can be provided by arrangement.
Within the village is a local shop and gift shop.
The lodge offers bed and breakfast. A range of rooms are available within the lodge and is available on a daily, weekend or weekly basis as is the cottage.
The lodge can be made available for exclusive use for parties celebrating special occasions along with our Cottage within the same grounds.
