Aberdeen Youth Hostel is located in a quiet residential area on the west side of the Granite City, within walking distance of the city centre and its many attractions.
Aberdeen, with its striking granite architecture and rich history, has something for everyone. Union Street is the main shopping destination and there’s an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and nightlife. The Maritime Museum, St Machar's Cathedral, The Stratosphere and Aberdeen Art Gallery are great stops for those interested in history and culture. There’s also a spectacular beach with its own promenade and funfair.
Aberdeen is a good base for exploring the surrounding area, with tourist attractions Dunnottar Castle in Stonehaven and Crathes Castle only 15 miles away. Braemar and beautiful Royal Deeside are easily accessible within an hour by car.
Private and multi-share rooms are available. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, TV lounge and quiet room. Luggage storage and laundry facilities are available. Continental breakfast is available and packed lunches can be arranged on request. There are also drink and snack vending machines in-house. A small amount of free private parking is available, as is bicycle storage. A bus stop 200m away provides regular services into the city centre.
