Airlies Cottage is a traditional single story cottage, consisting of one Bedroom with en-suite bathroom, Living room, utility room, separate toilet, kitchen and conservatory.
The bedroom hosts a king-size bed with a selection of pillows to suit, bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table enclosed in the wardrobe with hangers, hairdryer, full length mirror and additional bedding.
The en-suite bathroom consists of a full length bath with shower. A grab rail is installed to aid stepping in and out of the bath. Toilet and hand basin and towel rail with sumptuously soft towels and face cloths. There are dispensers containing bubble-bath, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, to use during your stay and extra large towels in the wardrobe for that added luxury.
The sitting room is the heart of the home with it's wood-burning stove and bucket of logs (More logs can be purchased if required). Here you will find a double sofa and double sofa bed (bedding for this is in the wardrobe). you will find a bookcase with light reading material and a radio ,along with a large writing desk, TV, USB charging plug and games and jigsaws in the draws of the desk.
The kitchen and conservatory are combined. The kitchen area is fully equipped with electric double oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, a full compliment of pans, crockery, cutlery, cups and glasses. There are recycling containers and a vaccum cleaner under the sink.
The conservatory has the best views of all, and has a extendable dining table (for doing jigsaws and for using the table top ironing board should the need arise). there are two reclining armchairs for simply enjoying the view by day and stargazing by night in our wonderful dark skies park.
Finally we come to the utility room, with an additional toilet, Utility sink, washing machine, and cleaning cupboard, with compact airing rack, basket with pegs and Iron (the ironing board is hanging in the bedroom wardrobe)
The Garden has table and chairs from April to October, a fire pit, washing line and a composting bin for emptying your vegetable matter should you fill the kitchen composting container during your stay.
