The Albyn Townhouse is a beautiful & impressive 4 storey 19th century Victorian House. Formerly the St Oswald Church Manse. Our family run townhouse has 10 fully en-suite bedrooms, superior double/twin rooms, double king rooms and family room, for up to 4 people. All our rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated & have flat screen Freeview TV, Tea & Coffee facilities, hair dryer & central heating, free Wifi in the house. Ironing facility available on request.
We are located off Bruntsfield Place, just minutes away from the old golf course on Bruntsfied Links, in a quiet and beautiful tree line cul de sac, within 15/20 minutes walk to the Old town & Edinburgh Castle as well as restaurants & shops and Edinburgh's major attractions. You will find great restaurants, Theatre and cinemas just 5 minutes from us. We also offer a small private car park...limited space to be booked in advance only!
The Albyn is perfect if you are looking for tranquillity & welcoming surroundings as well as a city centre feel. Price ranges from £55.00 for single occupancy & from £69.00 for 2, per room per night, depending on season & number of nights & include a full Scottish or continental breakfast, we cater for everyone, meat eaters, vegetarians & vegans.

Road
Follow signs onto the city bypass (A720). Exit at Lothianburn junction onto the A702 (Comiston Road to city). Continue on A702 / Comiston Road into the city for approximately 3 miles. You will pass through shopping district of Morningside. Continue on Morningside Road to Bruntsfield Place. Take a left at the Costcotters grocery store into Viewforth, then Hartington Gardens is second left after about 300 yards and the Albyn Townhouse is the last house in the street the only one with a car park.

From the nearest information centre:- From the TIC, take a right in Princes street & walk along to Hanover street, stay on the right hand side, take the bus 23, £1.20 per single or £3.00 for a day ticket, which will drop you in Bruntsfield Place, 5 minutes walk away from us, take a right into Viewforth & take the second turn on your left, in Hartington Gardens, we are number 16 at the bottom of the street. A taxi to us is around £7.00.
Getting there by railway:- From The Waverley train station, take a right into Princes street & walk along to Hanover street, stay on the right hand side, take the bus 23, £1.20 per single or £3.00 for a day ticket, which will drop you in Bruntsfield Place, 5 minutes walk away from us, take a right into Viewforth & take the second turn on your left, in Hartington Gardens, we are number 16 at the bottom of the street. Getting there by aeroplane:- There is a Citylink bus that runs between airport and the city centre approximately every 15 minutes. The fare is about £3.60 one-way or about £6.60 return, the stop is in Princes Street/ Lothian Road & a taxi from there would be about £5.00. It is walkable, but I wouldn't usually recommend it if your bags are heavy or if you are unsure of the location of the guest house. Alternatively, a taxi would cost from £18.00 - £22.00 from the airport direct to the Townhouse.
