Scotland’s rich history can be fully explored in Dumfries and the surrounding area with sites connected to Robert the Bruce; Robert Burns with connections to numerous sites in the town and his farm, Ellisland just 5 miles to the north at Holywood. For the children, Alderneuk Lodge is approximately 15 minutes away from Mabie Farm Park, Dalscone Farm Park, with many other attractions within easy reach.
