For cyclists, the National Cycle Route 7 begins nearby the property, leading down towards the villages of Balquhidder and Strathyre and along the old viaduct up Glen Ogle towards Killin. The cottage is close to the Lochearnhead village shop, post office and two local hotel/bar/restaurants.
