The crofters cottage is set overlooking the three main hills of South Uist. On the nearby west side are miles of white sandy beaches framed by fertile machair lands with its beautiful carpet of wild flowers and abundant birdlife.
On the east side, the rugged coastline is penetrated by deep loch fiords. Here you can visit old ports such as Loch Skipport where the original Royal Yacht Britannia brought Queen Victoria to South Uist. You may even glimpse the magnificent Golden Eagle or the wild otter on this spectacular eastern seaboard.
The accommodation consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom, shower and toilet. The living room is spacious and comfortable with a peat burning stove which also supplies heat to radiators throughout the house. The kitchen is modern with a small dining area, a washing machine is also included. The bedroom has a double bed and a bed settee is also located in the living room. If necessary, a cot can also be supplied.
