Forty five Westgate is a ground floor flat in an attractive block of flats built at the end of the 19th century. It has its own main door entrance through a small garden at the front. The flat is fully modernised although benefits from traditional tall ceilings, cornices, sash windows, wooden doors and fireplace (gas fire fitted). The large bay window in the lounge ensures it is bright and airy. The two themed bedrooms (Scottish golf and Seaside) have twin beds and accommodate up to four adults. A child’s cot is available should it be required.
The spacious lounge has a flat screen television with Sky plus. Sports and movies can be added for a charge. A DVD player and wi-fi/broadband facility is provided.
The bathroom is off the spacious hall and has bath and shower. The kitchen, with dining area, overlook a walled garden at the rear of the property. Access is available through a small utility room. Guests are free to use the garden and barbeque equipment is provided. The kitchen and utility area are equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The utility room has plenty space to hang up wet golf gear, or it can be hung outside on the line in the garden. The flat is centrally heated. The flat is very central. Park your car outside (Sept --May) and you will not need to use it again during your stay. Get up in the morning and walk for your morning papers,rolls and milk via the beach. Put your golf shoes on in the house (at the door please) and walk the 200 yards to the first tee of West Links. Pop along the street to shops, local bars and restaurants. The beach is 200 yards. The Station, where a train takes you to Edinburgh in 30 minutes, is 200 yards. Car parking is available in the street outside or in a public car park 100 yards away. No smoking is allowed within the flat.
