Ardachy House - Holiday let has uninterupted views south overlooking Ardalanish Bay to the Island of Colonsay and the distinctive “Paps of Jura". Just discernible is Ben Mhor on the island of Islay. On a clear day on the south west horizon the Irish coast is just visible.
We are ideally located for walks on Ardalanish beach or a visit to Mull weavers. We are located close to Bunessan which has a local shop, post office and pub. The property is a short distance for trips to Iona, Staffa and Erraid and walks and visits on the " Ross".
Ardalanish Beach has been designated a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) due to its unique geology. There is an abundance of birdlife. Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles, Buzzards and the occasional hen harrier can be seen. In addition, there are wheatears, corncrake, Kirlew and skylarks heard through the day. Some 215 species of birds have been spotted on the west coast of Mull. Deer are a common sight on the moors. If you are lucky you may see passing dolphins, whale and seal. If you are patient there are also occasional sightings of otter along the headland.
