Ardveich offers privacy and seclusion but both St Fillans and Lochearnhead are within striking distance offering local amenities including restaurants, village shops, cafes etc.
Literally, opposite the road end, you can hire small boats to go fishing on the loch (training, boat and equipment hire all available and very reasonably priced). Over and above that, Ardveich is the perfect base from which you can explore the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, historic Stirling, local distilleries, golf, archery, horse riding, Drummond Castle Gardens, Landrover Safaris, a plethora of historic places of interest and heading over to the West Coast is easy from here (by car!). This is such a central location, there are literally hundreds of options available to you within an hour's drive.
The interior is fresh and spacious with a particularly large, attractive drawing room with a wood burning stove, as well as a second TV/family room with a double sofa bed. A delightful sun room is the perfect spot to sit and soak up those marvellous views. A separate dining room is perfect for more formal evening meals although the spacious kitchen/dining room will readily and comfortably seat 10 as well. A downstairs WC and a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier complete the ground floor, making this a really lovely house for families or small groups.
Upstairs, there are four good-sized bedrooms (two doubles, two twin rooms) which are serviced by two bathrooms.
The enclosed garden with garden furniture and BBQ mean that you can extend your outdoor days and watch the sun set down the loch.
Ardveich is a truly lovely and special house for a holiday and offers real individuality with such stunning views. It is one of those places you might just fall a little bit in love with.
