Argrennan Lodge is situated just inside the main entrance of the Argrennan Manor House estate and offers accommodation for up to 4 people, 6 with the addition of the sofa bed. The Lodge is cool in the summer and snug in the winter, with central heating and a wood burner for extra comfort. The two upstairs twin bedrooms are cosy, with white walls that contrast against the dark wood of the apex ceiling and beautiful mahogany sleigh beds, offering a sound nights sleep to any weary traveller.
The estate is 50 acres centred around a 19th century neoclassical Manor with manicured lawns, gardens, and rustic woodland which guests are welcome to explored. Set between the Solway Coast & the Galloway forest, Argrennan Lodge is perfectly located to explore this beautiful part of Scotland, or even just a mid-way stop on route to Ireland being only an hour from Stranraer. Rediscover the regions past in its wealth of historic buildings and ancient battle sites. Relax in the tranquillity of the Argrennan estate and enjoy its pristine grounds and untouched woodland. Play golf on the fairway which encompasses the listed manor house. Explore the walled and secret gardens, or take a walk down to the river Dee and while away the afternoon fishing for Salmon on one of the best beats the Kirkcudbrightshire Dee has to offer.
The Lodge has a private rear garden with a well stocked wood store for cosy nights in.
