Atholl Cottage is a traditional 3-bedroomed cottage, sleeping 6, with views from all rooms across the Nairn Links parkland to the dunes and award-winning beach beyond. The cottage was built around 1900, and has an "upside-down" configuration, with bedrooms downstairs and living space upstairs to maximise the benefit of the spectacular views across the Moray Firth to the mountains of Sutherland and Caithness.
Upstairs, the lounge has windows on two sides, with views North to the sea and West towards the Nairn bandstand and the spacious Nairn Links parklands. The dining room is at the other end of the cottage, has a view to the sea and has patio doors out to a terrace that looks over a small courtyard to the bandstand. The kitchen is between the dining room and the lounge and also has a view to the sea. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Downstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed, a dressing room and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed and built-in wardrobes. The third bedroom has bunk beds. The ground floor is completed by the main bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over it. All bedrooms have windows looking out to the sea.
The cottage has parkland on two sides but has no garden of its own. There is a small courtyard outside the main door, enclosed by cast iron gates. There is parking available on the street to the side and to the front of the cottage. These streets are very quiet, as they are used only for local access.
