The gardens of Auchlochan Garden Village are its undoubted glory, offering a wide range of attractions to visitors and walkers. Laid out over a 50 acre estate, the gardens feature not only lochs that give the village its name, but stunning herbaceous borders, terrace gardens, rhododendron beds and heather gardens. At Auchlochan's heart is the delightful 1.5 acre Walled Garden. We also enjoy an abundance of wildlife on the estate which includes mute swans, greylag geese, pink feet geese, coots, moorhens, tufted ducks, greater spotted woodpeckers, buzzards, oyster catchers, grey heron....... the list goes on! Our largest loch is stocked with two species of fish; Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. Fishing is available during the Brown Trout season (15th March to 6th October) and can be booked at our Customer Services Desk (rules and fee apply).
