The lounge has large windows looking towards the sea. Relax and enjoy the views sitting in new leather reclining sofas or watch a DVD or Blu ray on our new 4K TV which includes Freesat. There is also a good selection of books, games and puzzles for all ages.
One bedroom is situated on the ground floor and has a king size bed and en-suite shower. Upstairs are 2 further bedrooms and a family bathroom.All bedrooms have a sea view and all bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside is a large garden with outdoor seating and ample parking for several cars.
Aurora Cottage is a real haven of tranquility but is also well placed to explore the rest of the island.
Nearby is the ruined castle of Duntulm and on the beach below are the recently discovered footprints of a dinosaur, some 170 million years old! Within site of the cottage is the Skye Museum of Island Life and a short walk takes you to the grave of Flora MacDonald,the 18th century Jacobite heroine.
Just a short drive away is the magical Fairy Glen and the Quiraing, a stunning geological feature often used in Hollywood films. Recently appearing in Macbeth starring Michael Fassbender and Roald Dahl's The BFG.
