Badnabay Cottage near Scourie in Sutherland is a delightful self catering holiday cottage set in the spectacular scenery of the Scottish Highlands. This holiday accommodation sits in a wonderful location close to the shore and on the other side, a tumbling burn and the surrounding hills all lying within the North West Highland Geopark. The property provides comfortable accommodation and benefits from an open fire in the sitting room, delightful to return to after an active day outdoors.
There is an extensive variety of outdoor pursuits available in the area, particularly fishing. On Loch More and Loch Stack, fishing for brown trout, sea trout and salmon can be arranged as well as brown trout on estate hill lochs. Bird watching enthusiasts will be delighted by Handa Island located close to Scourie which is approximately 6 miles from this country cottage. There is also great opportunity for hill walking and mountain biking with a number of mountains located on the estate itself. Guests are, of course, asked to co-operate with the estate during the stalking period, commencing at the start of August. From Kinlochbervie, sea angling may also be possible and there are wonderful beaches in the vicinity of the holiday cottage just waiting to be explored.
