The welcome pack contains wine, award winning smoked salmon produce form the Hebridean Smokehouse, bread, butter, orange juice, eggs, milk, oatcakes, jam, tea and ground coffee all included.
Uninterrupted views of beach and bay from lounge and of St Kilda and the wild Atlantic Ocean from the breakfast bar. Miles of stunning coastal walks direct from the cottage. The enclosed garden has a large lawn area, with several patio areas and a picnic table. You can reach the beach directly from the garden through a gate and enjoy swimming from the rocks below the garden at high tide. There is safe storage for cycles and kayaks in a large garden shed. The starting point for bird and wildlife walks by RSPB Rangers is nearby.
The west coast location of the cottage is perfect for watching spectacular sunsets and also for enjoying the rare "machair" flower displays every summer. An official "dark sky" area, the stars and Milky Way are magnificent in winter and the northern lights are regularly seen from the cottage.
