Whether you’re looking for a Highland adventure or a romantic retreat, a warm welcome awaits you at Balvenie Cottage.
Quietly located in a secluded garden, this detached three bedroom property is just a stone’s throw from the Highland games park that’s home to the renowned Braemar Gathering attended by the Queen. The original cottage is among the oldest in the village dating back to Jacobite times, while the spacious and bright Victorian addition boasts spectacular mountain views.
THE COTTAGE
Lovingly restored to a very high standard, Balvenie Cottage retains stacks of historic character. But it’s modern where it matters, with stylish and contemporary kitchen, bathroom and shower room.
Enter the Victorian wing to find a comfortable lounge with wood-burning stove and dual aspect mountain views, a spacious shower room and a well-equipped modern kitchen.
Step through to the original stone cottage to find the dining room with apex ceiling, exposed beams and wood-burning stove - and the master bedroom with adjoining dressing room / study.
Upstairs, you will find two further bedrooms (a double and a twin) and a bathroom – all with scenic mountain views.
The large secluded sunny garden is perfect for barbecues, surrounded by views of the heather-adorned mountains.
