Barrow Campsite is situated on an arable farm in the Highlands of Scotland, on the banks of the river Nairn. It is within cycling distance of the historic town of Nairn and a short drive to the city of Inverness. It is overlooking the rolling hills and only a few miles from spectacular beaches. Our touring campsite and glamping pods are dotted about this wonderful and secluded landscape surrounded by natural and arable land. The river ‘Nairn’ can be accessed from the site and in the Spring it’s banks are covered with thousands of bluebells.
It’s a place a world apart from the rush and clutter of the modern holiday experience, with an atmosphere that makes you forget the world outside, and just lounge, ramble, or potter about.

Our pitches
Our large 12m x 7m hard-standing touring pitches are arranged sympathetically around the Site to allow for different views wherever you pitch up. All these pitches have electricity, and a water tap is shared between two pitches. One hard-standing pitch situated near the toilet block is a dedicated disabled pitch.
The grass pitches are there for the smaller vehicles and tents and are located overlooking the nature park and pond. A number of these pitches have electricity. Water taps are shared amongst the grass pitches. Just pitch up your tent where-ever it feels right.
