Within minutes walking distance of the restaurants and attractions in North Berwick, the Beach House is directly across the road from West Beach with offers a long stretch of sand and views to the island of Craigleith and the Bass Rock. Simply a superb central location with the coastal scenery right on your doorstep that has made North Berwick a jewel in the East Lothian crown for so many years. Factor in the ease of getting to and from Edinburgh and this is an ideal base for excursions to the the capital.
West Bay is a popular family beach for sunbathing, bird watching, paddling, picnics and dog walking. Behind the beach is a putting green open during the summer months. Beach House is within walking distance of the Scottish Seabird Centre.
Contact us if you are looking for a short break. Preferrably a Saturday arrival or departure, or midweek. Short break bookings are accepted at the discretion of the owner and are on a request basis.
Introducing the property
Beach House occupies a corner position on Beach Road. Spread over three floors the owner has gone that extra step to decorate the home with paintings and objet d'art. There are many curious that add up to an interesting and cared for holiday home.
Dining & Kitchen - Ground floor
Enter into the hallway which leads to the spacious dining room. Dining table seating for 6 with an extention for up to 8. Across the hall is the well equiped kitchen which includes a breakfast table seating 4. There is also a full bathroom on this level. From the ground floor a curving staircase takes you to the first floor.
Lounge - First floor
Spacious sitting room with corner bay window including seating offering a fantastic view of the beach.
First floor - Double and single bedroom.
Second floor - Master bedroom and a twin and single bedroom.
Ground floor and second floors. Both have baths with a shower above the bath.
There is no reserved parking. There is ample street parking in the area but of course during the busy holiday times care has to be taken to ensure you get a good spot close to the house.
