Enjoy a stay in a converted Victorian railway station in Beauly, a charming Highland town which is an ideal base for touring the Highlands.
We have two apartments available to let in this historic railway station which was built in 1875. We live in the main part of the station so we're on hand to answer any questions or resolve any issues. Each apartment has its own private entrance.
Lord Lovat's Waiting Room, on the ground floor, has a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and a sitting room with a wood burning stove. There is a modern shower room and the small kitchen area has a fridge, microwave and toaster (no cooker rings). It has its own entrance, private parking and a small garden area for sitting out and watching the occasional train go by.
The former Stationmaster's House, on the upper floor, has a large sitting room with 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have king size beds and the third can be set up as a twin bedroom or a super king size bedroom. There is a well equipped kitchen diner with a washing machine. The apartment has its own entrance with a large hall on the ground floor which can be used to store bikes, boots etc.
We are always happy to help with advice on how to get here or things to do once you're here. We have a good knowledge of local restaurants, visitor attractions, walks and days out.
The new Beauly railway station sits on the other side of the tracks and is a few minutes away, by foot or car.
