Daniel and Lesley welcome you to this remarkable, peaceful and special place. Belmont Chapel Cottage is situated in the small village of Acharacle on the beautiful and remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the Highlands of Scotland. From every window there are stunning views of Loch Shiel and the surrounding hills, mountains and rugged countryside.
A short drive will take you to the white sandy beaches of Ardtoe or Samalaman Bay, to the shores of Loch Sunart or the historic ruined Castle Tioram.
The accommodation is cosy yet modern and comprises a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area, 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 with zip-link beds which can either be 2 singles or joined together to make a king size), a bathroom, sun room and porch. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would expect including a dishwasher. The washing/dryer machine is located in the bathroom.
There is a large corner sofa bed in the living area and we can also provide 2x fold out beds. For babies and toddlers there is a travel cot, high chair, training toilet seat and stool. As the accommodation is all on one level we do not provide any safety gates.
There is a garden area surrounding the cottage with a large picnic table, fire pit and rotary washing line. There are stunning views across Loch Shiel from the front window and garden.
Please note that the path to the cottage is uneven and there are a few steps. There is also one step into the cottage by the front door into the porch.
We usually operate a 3 night minimum stay policy, however we are flexible and may be able to accommodate shorter stays if requested.
