Benmore Lodge is located in Assynt which is widely regarded as being one of the most beautiful parts of the Scottish highlands. It is a lovely property and a wonderful getaway for families, groups of friends and couples. Situated 3 miles down a track, the house sits within the glorious Benmore estate and at the head of Loch Ailsh on the upper reaches of the River Oykel. Overlooking the loch and mountains beyond, it is the perfect base for walking, fishing, bird watching, plant and wildlife spotting and relaxing in good company. Stunning coastlines, sandy beaches, mountains and the fishing villages of Lochinver and Ullapool are all within striking distance.
With only two steps into the house, and accommodation all on one level, Benmore Lodge is an ideal property for guests of all ages. The property has a lovely country house feel inside and generously proportioned rooms. Prepare your meals in the well equipped kitchen and serve them in style in the adjacent formal dining room. Spend time reading, playing board games, looking at the views or putting your feet up in front of the open fire whilst enjoying an afternoon tea in the drawing room.
Put on your walking boots and climb the twin peaks of Conival (3238ft) and Ben More Assynt (3274ft) or, if you are feeling slightly less energetic, take a leisurely stroll and afterwards have a lazy picnic on the sandy beach immediately in front of the house.

Rear hallway leads to utility room; drying/boot room with heated rails and 1 single bedroom with separate wc & whb.
There is ample parking for several cars adjacent to the house.
Rowing boat on Loch Ailsh available by arrangement.
Fly fishing and red deer stalking may be available by separate arrangement.
