Wonderful Georgian house in a spectacular, secluded seaside position, yet close to amenities. Quirky, spacious with everything for a memorable holiday, whether with family or friends, ideal for children and dogs too.
Bentfield is the perfect place to relax. There's plenty of space with four reception rooms and a large kitchen/breakfast room. The house has been a family home for many years, it's full of character and interest, now brought up to modern standards to make an ideal, well equipped holiday home. There are four acres of garden with steps leading directly to the shore. We have a lovely covered patio area with a new barbecue area, ideal for barbecuing fresh fish on wood gathered from the shore.
It's ideal for family or multi generaltional holidays. Marvel at the magnificent sunsets, splash in the hot tub, explore the garden, play croquet on the lawn, or tennis on the very rough court. Alternatively, simply relax and read or chat in front of the fire.
The rock pools can keep children interested for hours. Build sandcastles to your heart's content. Dogs love it too.
It's a good place for adult holidays too, with excellent cooking facilities, many interesting books and maps, and a great place to unwind.
Prestwick town is a short distance away, with supermarkets, independent shops and first class restaurants.
Visit the surrounding beautiful countryside, Burns country, Culzean Castle, Auld Ayr, Ayr Racecourse, Championship Golf courses nearby, take a day trip on The Waverley, go over to Arran, Cumbrae or Bute. Bring bikes too, the list is endless.
