The Lodge is peaceful and secluded standing alone in pine and birch woodland with open views over fields towards Munlochy Bay. It is well equipped and furnished to a high standard to ensure guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay. With a newly fitted kitchen, open plan living/dining room, a double and a twin bedroom upstairs and a single bedroom downstairs, it accommodates up to five adults and a small child.
The new wood burning stove gives extra warmth for those chilly winter nights or cooler summer evenings. All heating, logs, towels and bed linen are included.
Glenys and Alan live close by and offer you a warm welcome, keen to share their knowledge of the Highlands. They are enthusiastic about local Scottish produce and are happy to cook an evening meal either delivered to the Lodge or served in their own dining room a short walk away.
Guests do not have to venture far to see some amazing wildlife. Expect to see red kites soaring overhead and listen out for woodpeckers. Do not be surprised to see red squirrels in the woods or roe deer wandering through the trees beside the lodge. You can take a short trip to view the famous Moray Firth dolphins at Chanonry Point or take a boat trip for an even closer view.
Golfers are spoilt for choice given the range of quality courses nearby. Whisky connoisseurs have distilleries galore to visit. Excursions to Skye, the north west coast of Scotland and Orkney are each possible in a day. The choices are many and varied.
