Likely everyone has this these days, but we strongly recommend insurance to cover cancellation of booking etc. Bolt Hole Cottage is no more than 3-5 minutes from the main road - however, one of its main attractions is that it is genuinely rural and in driving the unsurfaced track you will climb perhaps 50-75 metres in height. Those familiar with Scotland will know that "weather" is one of our attractions and in Perthshire, December to early March can see snow, for example, when the rest of the country is clear. The skiers amongst you will relish this of course but close attention to weather forecasts and consideration of winter tyres would not unreasonable precautions at that time of year.
