Borenich is a 19th century, stone-built farmhouse situated above Loch Tummel and enjoys the most stunning views of the far side of this gorgeous loch. This spacious farmhouse is just perfect for families, and the glorious garden with the added bonus of access to the loch (via a short walk through the fields) will be a delight.
This welcoming cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for your self-catering holiday - this owner has thought of everything. The AGA along with the open fire gives the whole house the most wonderful ambience. The kitchen is the hub of the house with its picture window, dining table for 6 and the comforting warmth of the AGA. The bright and spacious sitting room with its open fire and TV is ideal for a catch up at the end of the day and the lovely wee snug is perfect for a bit of quiet ‘me’ time, watching a film or enjoying the numerous board games left for you to enjoy. The bedrooms are all on the upper floor. The front rooms are light and bright and have the same wonderful views; and who needs an alarm clock when you have nature’s own, the dawn chorus. The twin room is at the back of the house and has a children’s theme.
You will be spoiled for choice on your days out and things to do. The Queen’s View is on your door step. A must is a visit to the House of Bruar - only 20 minutes away. Pitlochry is just 7 miles away with its theatre (advisable to book as seats sell out very fast), hotels and shops. Dunkeld is another lovely Scottish town and of course famous for its annual visitors: the Ospreys at Loch of the Lowes. To the south, the fair city of Perth, St Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow and to the north, Aviemore and the Highland Capital, Inverness – are all fine days out. The outdoor enthusiast will be spoiled for choice - walking from the door, cycling, golf and much more.
