Bowismiln Cottage is a former shepherd’s cottage that has been lovingly modernised, set in a peaceful country spot near Lilliesleaf (2m).
Inside the charming dining sitting room is warmed by an open fire and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cook up a storm. There is a twin bedroom downstairs and a cosy double bedroom and further twin room upstairs. Outside is an enclosed garden with seating and expansive views.
Lilliesleaf has a café and two pub/restaurants and just outside the village is a golf course that welcomes visitors and even children and dogs. You can fish on the Ale Water and the quiet surrounding roads are ideal for walking and cycling. In Selkirk (6m) you can pick up tartan and knitwear at the Lochcarron Visitor Centre where there are also mill tours available.
