Braleckan has been beautifully refurbished, making it ideal for holidays with family of friends with plenty of space to spread out into. The sitting room has L-shaped seating and a wood-burning stove at its heart and the well-equipped dining kitchen is great for enjoying relaxed meals together. There is a useful double bedroom downstairs with a TV room above and two further double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Outside the south-facing garden enjoys sweeping views of Cowal hills.
The nearby Auchendrain Farming Museum provides a fascinating insight into how the locals used to live and work. Inveraray will be familiar due to its distinctive black and white frontage featured on many souvenir calendars. The Castle and Jail there are well-known attractions not to be missed and it also has plenty of interesting shops and eateries.
