The bedrooms comprise of one double and one twin room. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with its own table. The lounge is light and airy with a feature stone wall with arched window and french doors leading out onto the courtyard. Being all on one level the cottage is suitable for guests with limited mobility. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath with handrail.

Johnshaven is a fishing village about 3 miles away by car. There is a shop with post office and 2 pubs by the harbour. The larger village of Inverbervie has more shops including chemist, supermarket, bakery etc and is home to the famous 'Bervie Chipper'
This is a great base for exploring the Angus glens, the Mearns country side, the castle trail including Glamis castle, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth the Queen mother and the dramatic cliff top Dunnottar castle by Stonehaven. The spectacular beach and nature reserve at St Cyrus are close by.
The granite city of Aberdeen is 30 miles north whilst Dundee, home to Scotts arctic ship 'Discovery' lies 40 miles to the south.
