A self catering, fully furnished detached house in a secluded beauty spot. Accessed by a short, private access road with plenty of parking space.
Ideally suited for bird watching; wildlife; walking and fishing.
A well established tree plantation, with plenty of birds and wildlife can be explored to the North and West of the house; the house overlooks a large loch to the East; while the South side of the house benefits from uninterupted views and long periods of sunshine throughout the day.
The loch is regularly used for fishing; and guests at Brekka are free to fish the loch at their leisure. There is also another loch two minutes away which can also be fished. Otters are regularly spotted swimming in both lochs, and playing on the loch-side.
The house has two bedrooms; a living room; kitchen; bathroom; utility room and internal storage cupboards. The bedrooms both have double beds; a childs cot and single fold-up bed are available on request.
The house is fully furnished; including fridge/freezer; cooker; washing machine; microwave; large flat screen television in the living room; small television in the kitchen; telephone; beds; sofas; hair dryer and Dyson vacuum cleaner.
Brekka benefits from close proximity (5 minute walk) to the well stocked local Vidlin shop which opens 7 days per week and sells petrol and diesel.
There is a bus service running to and from Lerwick running three times per day, six days per week.
The local village hall; children's play-park and local boating marina are only five minutes walk from Brekka.
There are ferries travelling daily from Vidlin to the islands of Whalsay and Skerries.
Vidlin is approximately 21 miles from Lerwick. The roads are good and traffic is usually light.
Rental is for non-smokers only; and no pets would be allowed.
