The fully equipped kitchen provides a pleasant setting for small group breakfasts while the dining room allows all to eat together, both rooms look out onto the hot tub and river.
The local area has an abundance of attractions to suit all tastes with riverside walks from the doorstep and the Galloway Forest Bike and walking trails with in a 15 minute drive. Fishing is available in the town itself and on surrounding lochs. The internationally famous Seven Stanes mountain bike routes are only a few miles away, lying within Galloway Forest Park, which is also a mecca for hiking, bird-watching and outdoor pursuits - it is now designated a Dark Skies Park.
