Bridge Cottage at Moneydie occupies peaceful rural setting overlooking a pretty little burn, yet is not far from the lively city of Perth (7m, all facilities).
The open plan living area has comfortable seating around a multi-fuel stove, a well-equipped kitchen area and dining in between with French doors out to the patio (furniture). There is a double bedroom and shower room downstairs and upstairs are two further bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside the small grassed garden leads right down to the burn.
There are lovely walks to Pitcairngreen (2m, pub/restaurant) and Almondbank (2.5m, shop) on the River Almond (fishing available) and the supermarket on the outskirts of Perth is the closest for stocking up on supplies. Dunkeld (10m) is known for its cathedral and just outside is the Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Reserve with its variety of birds including some rare breeding ospreys. Glenshee (40m) offers skiing and snowboarding in winter and mountain biking in summer.
