Just 4 miles from Kirriemuir, our luxury glamping pods near the Cairngorms National Park provide a tranquil base from which to explore the surrounding Glenprosen, Glenclova and Glenisla hills and days out to the renowned Angus beaches of Lunan Bay and St. Cyrus Nature Reserve.
Our 3 glass-fronted luxury glamping pods are ideally positioned to take in the scenic views and sun sets down the Balintore valley, which can be equally enjoyed from the comfort of your sofa or whilst soaking in your Scandinavian, woodburning ECO hot tub.
Offering a generous 24 square meters, each luxury pod, comfortably accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults.
The interior of each pod is a combination of exposed pine and chic, grey painted timber to provide a cosy, yet modern feel, to our bespoke glamping units.
Your comfort has been fundamental to our design, with each pod offering a king size bed, internal bathroom with full-sized shower. You can enjoy a pleasant read or relax with a drink of choice in your ‘living area’ complete with sofa and coffee table. If required, the sofa can be easily pulled out into a cosy double bed.
Each kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven (including pizza stone), microwave, toaster and kettle. Cutlery, crockery, pots and pans are all provided. We just ask you to bring any utensils that are required for younger children.
Here at Bridgend of Pearsie, we are environmentally conscious and therefore our hot tubs are wood burning, chemical-free and are one of the most fuel and water efficient models on the market. *All wood for hot tubs and fire pit are provided.
Other amenities on our site include, a 12 seater BBQ hut, outdoor fire pit and our new children’s play park!
Here at Bridgend of Pearsie Pods, we care deeply for the natural environment. This can be seen throughout the site with well over 700 native trees planted to date; hence the names of our pods: Rowan, Aspen and Maple (three of our favourites!). We aim to plant double this amount of trees in the future.
We take great pride in our bird and small mammal feed stations. Small birds and mammals are abundant, providing that ‘total immersion’ in nature feel. Whilst staying with us, you will no doubt see chaffinches, goldcrest, great, blue and coal tit, woodpeckers, iconic raptors such as red kite and our much- loved native species, the red squirrel.
Whether you are set for a day in the hills; enjoy soaking up some local history and culture; or are simply seeking some escapism in the beauty of our natural world, at Bridgend of Pearsie Pods, we aim to provide a luxurious glamping experience and a little place of ‘calm’.
