The story goes;
Seacliffe was the late great Bruce Douglas Pettie's getaway. Home to some legendary parties including the annual Guy Fawkes bonfire bonanza.
Bruce was an entrepreneur with a passion for the advancement of democracy. We promised him while he was dying that we would put this house to good use in supporting democratic innovation and creating a world that works for us all.
As Bruce Arms, Seacliffe covers her costs for the year with commercial lets. The weeks we have left are offered as Democracy House to people who apply with world changing ideas and the need for space to brainstorm.
