Caldon Cottage, Cromarty

Comfortable and graceful holiday cottage within our walled garden in Cromarty township. Plenty of off street, secure, private parking. 

Inside, the cottage is fully accessible [stairlift] with three bedrooms, one downstairs opposite the cloakroom/wc. Modern, efficient electric heaters. Full Wi-Fi. 
Sleeping 6 plus a cot with a king size in the en-suite master bedroom, twin joinable beds making a superking in the second bedroom next to the main bathroom, and a double bed downstairs.
Very warm and cosy with a log woodstove in the large elegant living room. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen; dining area and a separate utility/laundry room giving access to the covered rear walkway suitable for bike or canoe storage. Log-fired hot tub on patio, next to swing under cherry tree. Barbecue stand and pizza oven.
Pet friendly, fully secure garden for up to two dogs.
Very convenient for village amenities -- the village Store is a two minute walk; next to it is the "Cheese Shop" [in the old jail!], and also "Cromarty Bakery" is across the road. "Sutor Creek Cafe" take-away and deli three minutes, "Royal Hotel" bar and restaurant four minutes, or go the other way for five minutes to the "Cromarty Arms" in the Fishertown area where there areantique, clothes and scandi-design shops.
Past Stevenson's lightouse five minutes to the west you will see our local 35-seat cinema, then "Slaughterhouse Coffee" on the ferry slipway, and then the beautiful old harbour with "Ecoventures" wildlife trip boats and Cromarty to Nigg ferry is laid out below you!
