Located 4 miles from Fort William, in the picturesque village of Corpach is our top storey, deceptively spacious 1 bedroom apartment, with the most jaw dropping views. We have an open plan kitchen, living room/diner where you can gaze out the window taking in views of Ben Nevis, the Caledonian Canal, watch the boats on the Loch and see the Jacobite Steam train on the West Highland train line. Your panoramic view across Lochaber will take you from Aonach Mor ski resort to the Glenfinnan.
A spacious one bedroom apartment, which includes an open plan kitchen/ diner/living room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and the dining table is strategically placed beside the bay window, so you can take in the phenomenal view while enjoying some food. We have a cosy wall hung fire in the living room, perfect for curling up after a walk in the hills and a smart TV. The bedroom is large with 2 wardrobes, one single bed and one king size bed. The bathroom is also spacious and has a shower over the bath. There are 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, there is no elevator.
Guest access: The entire apartment is yours for the duration of your stay. There are two apartments below with shared main door access. The apartment itself is accessed via electronic key pad, for which you will be given a code approx. 24 hours prior to arrival.
We are approx. 100M from Corpach train station, which forms part of the WEst Highland Line, considered by many to be one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. The train has direct access to Glasgow and London via Fort William. The same line is used for the Jacobite Steam Train, which travels from Fort William to Mallaig. To use this service you must catch this particular train from Fort William. You can catch the train to Mallaig, which stops at places such as Glenfinnan and Arisaig and Fort William in the other direction, or you may be better catching a bus, which stops about 20M from the apartment and is more regular. We are approx. 10 minutes from Fort William by car and the same to Aonach Mor Ski Resort. If you wish to travel to Inverness, there are daily buses from Fort William bus station. Taxis are also readily available.
One private parking slot at the rear of the property.In addition, you can use parking at the front of the property either on street at the co-operative store or opposite or you can safely park overnight at Kilmallie Hall, here your car can be easily seen/heard from the apt.
Other things to note Please adhere to social distancing and use hand sanitiser provided in the ground floor entrance hallway. Anti virus cleaning products and hand sanitiser will be provided for you and we will be adhering to Covid 19 cleaning guidelines for self catering businesses. Please be respectful and mindful of our neighbour one floor below. We kindly request that there is no jumping or running in the apartment as it can be heard in the apartment below. No loud music or parties No pets Not suitable for children and infants Strictly no parking at the rear of the property for any length of time Please do not use clothes line at the back, we don’t own it, it belongs to our neighbour.
