As an alternative to B&B at Westward, we now offer the opportunity for self-catering in our new sustainable timber framed microlodges.
Designed and built by ourselves, the MicroLodges have been a constructed using locally sourced timber and are topped off with a turf roof. Douglas Fir has been used to create the frame, whilst Larch is used for the cladding. All the logs have been milled on-site using our own woodmizer sawmill.
The MicroLodges are perfect for glamping containing:
2 small single beds,
A fully equipped mini-kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave + sink,
An ensuite shower/toilet,
free wifi,
heating.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
The Eco MicroLodges are set in the land adjoining the house and garden which is covered by wild meadow. Each hut has a deck on which to sit and relax after a busy day down the Glens. There is a designated area for BBQs or campfires.
Both Eco MicroLodges have a similar layout and the same facilities. However, Lodge 1 has been plaster boarded and has 2 small twin beds, whilst Lodge 2 has been left with boards showing and has 2 standard twin beds.
