A comment from a recent guest says "I just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Caleview last week. I think we certainly chose a good week weather-wise. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Skip is now sulking because he misses his morning walks in Battery Park and along the beach. We also walked up by the reservoirs, very scenic and peaceful. My only complaint is that I couldn’t watch TV properly because whatever was on TV I kept finding myself looking out of the window at the view even at night !! It’s a good job I don’t live there or I would never get anything done. It is such a beautiful location and so convenient. As well as the Cardwell we ate at the Waterwheel at Port Glasgow which is excellent (we ate there twice). If you’ve never had their carvery I would recommend it. We also ate at the Wheelhouse at Langbank, which has been a family favourite for a number of years. After all the years coming to the area I discovered Portencross near Largs for the first time. I couldn’t believe that I’d never been there before, we went there 3 times !!! I hope you are well and that we had left Caleview in good order as we found it. Many thanks again and hope to visit again."
