Canmore Cottage is a traditional cottage tucked away down a side lane, yet in easy strolling distance of the centre of the village.
Inside, the cosy sitting room has comfortable seating and a wood-burning stove, while the kitchen is modern and well-equipped and leads through an inviting dining sunroom. The cottage is all on one level with three bedrooms and a modern shower room. Outside is a large grassed garden with a patio (furniture).
The Queen usually visits the village each year for the Braemar Gathering, a traditional highland games event with ‘tossing the caber’ and pipe music/dancing. There is walking, climbing, cycling and watersports in the Cairngorms National Park where there is wildlife including otters, pine martens and wild cats.
