Carmichael Farmhouse is a stunning detached farmhouse situated between Dundee and Perth on a Scottish berry and cattle farm. We are family friendly and dog friendly. We have 4 beautiful and comfortable bedrooms (2 master King bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, 1 twin room with single beds, 1 twin room with double beds which can be used as a family room and a double sofa bed in the snug). The farmhouse kitchen is bright and airy and very well equipped with all that you would need to prepare meals with family and friends. The antique pine farmhouse kitchen table seats 8 adults and the breakfast bar seats up to 3 more people. The living room has a woodburing stove which is perfect for gathering around and playing a board game in the evening and there is also a flatscreen TV with Sky Tv Multiroom. If you have younger family members with you, they will enjoy their own space in the snug/toyroom/double sofa bed room that has a good selection of games, books, DVDs and TV with Sky Multiroom. Dogs are well catered for at Carmichael Farmhouse and we have a special dog room in the Farmhouse with a dog gate that fixes over to keep them secure at night. There is also a large secure dog run outside should you need to leave your dogs at the farmhouse for any reason and we can provide dog baskets for you. All canine guests get their own towels for drying off after muddy walks! The Farmhouse garden is large and fully enclosed with plenty space for kids and dogs to run around. There is plenty out door seating on the patio area and in the garden for dining outside (BBQ provided). The younger vsitiors will enjoy the large, enclosed sandpit and swingset in the garden. We have also converted The Stable into a ping pong shed with giant chalkboards and a wendy house for more family fun! There is also plenty room to store bikes, golf clubs and buggies in the farmhouse and in the Stable. We are in a fantastic location with fields in Perthsire, Tayside and Angus surrounding us. We are only a few miles from Dundee whoich is undergoing a huge transformation with the developement of the waterfront and the opening of the V&A Design Museum planned for September 2018. There is much to do and many fantastic shops and restaurants. In the Summer months those guests that book a week may have the chance to pick delicious berries fro themself. We are within an hours drive of 3 championship golf courses, St Andrews, Carnoustie and Glenaeagles. There are some fantastic walks from the doorstep up to the top of the farm which will reward you with fantastic views over the Tay River. There are also many more walks in the area of Carse of Gowrie. The local shop and Post Office is in Longforgan village which is under a mile away. Starter pack provided.
