Carter's Rest is a registered 5 star, guesthouse on the western shores of Isle of Skye. Situate in Upper Milovaig we look out over the Little Minch to the Outer Hebrides and Loch Pooltiel.

Carter's Rest is on the isolated western shores of Skye . We have 3 double guest rooms, and 1 self contained apartment. We are ideally situated for visitors to visit, Trotternish (Rubha Hunish, Fairy Glen and Quirang), Waternish (Fairy bridge, Trumpan historic Church, Stein with its famous pub and Loch Bay restaurant) and Waterstein: Walks abound in Ramasaig, Neist Point light-house, coral beach, Orbost , Macleod's Maidens, Macleod's Tables to mention but a few. Carbost with the famous Talisker Distillery, Fairy Pools and the beautiful Talisker Bay are all within easy reach, as is Dunvegan with its historic castle .
A great place to relax in the evening, enjoy a meal in or visit one of our many local restaurants.
