Situated at the cross-roads of the footpath from the beach to Arran’s highest peak and the exclusive private driveway from Brodick Castle to Brodick village, the Lodge is the perfect base for a family occasion or an adventure holiday. From here one can walk to the Castle and Gardens, walk or jog through quiet woodland, build sand-castles on the beach or explore the mountain ridges. With ample space for a marquee in the grounds it could be your base for a wedding party.
Renovated, with under-floor heating and double glazing throughout, the Lodge comfortably accommodates up to ten. With the added warmth of the open fire, the generous sitting room lends itself to lively or intimate conversation, with ample space for others to watch T.V. or a DVD on a wide-screen television. The games room, with table tennis has also proved popular with people of all ages.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas 5-ring hob, two electric ovens, microwave and dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier and much, much more.
Of the five bedrooms, the two super-kings may be configured as twins by prior arrangement. In addition, the accommodation includes two other twin rooms and a double bedroom. The important thing here are the Egyption linen and the soft fluffy white towels. The ground floor super-king room has it's own bathroom and the upstairs bedrooms share both a bathroom (with the original cast iron, roll-top bath) and a shower room between them.
Wi-fi broadband is connected in the Hall, making it available in most rooms.
Given sufficient notice, we would be pleased to assist in arranging domestic help or the services of a chef (as available) to make the most of your holiday and allow you to relax, whilst The Wineport bistro is only about 600 yards away, in the Cladach Visitor Centre and Creelers sea-food restaurant is a little further, in the Duchess Court complex.
