Walkers will find this cosy cottage irresistible as it is in an idyllic location in the community of Gedintailor, Braes 7 miles south of Portree. It overlooks the very picturesque Camas a' Mhòr-bheòil (Gaelic 'Big Mouth Bay'), and the Isle of Raasay. There is a monument commemorating the Battle of the Braes within a short distance of the house. There are lots of interesting birds hereabouts, such as Golden eagle, Buzzard, Kestrel as well as smaller species. A five-minute walk from the house will take you to open country that is marshy in places, but perfectly navigable. Here you will see mountain vistas to die for.
