Situated in the popular “East Neuk” fishing village of Anstruther close to the picturesque harbour, marina and local amenities. There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants including the world famous, award winning Anstruther Fish Bar. The harbour has been the home of a Lifeboat station for over 160 years and the connection is further enhanced by the Scottish Fisheries Museum.
The East Neuk of Fife is well known for it’s costal walks, beaches and golf courses. Anstruther has it’s own challenging 9 hole golf course. One hole in particular, the Rockies, has been voted the best par 3 hole in the UK. The “home of golf”, St Andrews is only a fifteen minute drive away. There you will also find popular tourist attractions such as the historic castle, cathedral and the oldest university in Scotland.
Edinburgh International Airport is only a one hour drive away. The cities of Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow are also served by excellent bus services. The Cairngorm mountains and glens can be reached by car within an hour and a half.
The Flat is bright and airy and has recently been re-decorated throughout. All the furniture and fittings have been replaced with new “IKEA” designs. The kitchen has a full size cooker and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and utensils.
The spacious living room has a dining area and two double sofas which can been folded out as beds. The main bedroom has a full double bed, chest of drawers and a large walk-in storage cupboards. The bathroom has both a bath and shower.
