A quiet and modern two bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of historical Fishermarket close in Edinburgh's Old Town. The apartment is only a few meters from the famous Royal Mile and 1 minutes walk from city center attractions, bars, restaurants and shops.
Apartment has free unlimited wireless internet and central heating.
You can check-in anytime after 3PM, as late as you wish, we have Smartlock key less entry system, you will be provided a six digit access code using that you can check-in anytime suitable to you.
LOUNGE/KITCHEN
Bright and spacious with large windows, it has two sofas (3+2 seating). There is also a 40" flat screen TV with Satellite channels, BBC iPlayer and a DVD player.
Kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, clothes washer & dryer, fridge/freezer, oven and cooking stove. There is also a microwave, kettle and toaster. All cutlery, pots, pans and crockery is provided. Tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk is also provided. Between the cupboards and the fridge you will also find some basic cooking items like salt, pepper, olive oil etc.
BATHROOM
Accessed from the hallway is the shower room, where you'll find some Scottish toiletries and a shower, WC and hand basin.
BEDROOMS
The two bedrooms - both with double beds and pocket sprung mattresses - have drawer units. One bedroom also has large fitted wardrobes where you will find an ironing board and iron. Master bedroom has a hairdryer in the top drawer and full length mirror.
GUEST ACCESS
To make it easy and stress free, the apartment has key free access so you can check-in anytime that suits you. Your access code will be shared with you 1 day before your arrival. The whole apartment is yours to enjoy during your stay and you are free to come and go as you please.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The apartment is only a few meters from the Royal Mile in the Old Town of Edinburgh, with historic architecture and cobbled streets, restaurants, bars and unique shops creating a vibrant, convenient and beautiful setting for your stay. The apartment itself is just off the Royal Mile and within a minutes walk are many of Edinburgh's popular tourist attractions, including Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament, St Giles Cathedral, Mary King's Close and the Camera Obscure World.
GETTING AROUND
Waverley train station is 10 minute walk from the apartment, along Calton Road. A large number of local bus routes are also within 3 minutes walk from the flat.
THE APARTMENT HAS NO PARKING, NEAREST MULTI-STORY NCP CAR PARK IS 5 MINS WALK.

Guest will have access to the full flat.
No more than 5 guests (fifth guest will have to sleep in sofa bed or air mattress provided).

The neighbourhood
Old Fishmarket Close in Edinburgh was once considered a 'a steep, narrow stinking ravine' containing a lively fish and poultry market. It runs south from the Royal Mile next to St Giles Cathedral to Cowgate.
Old Fishmarket Close was home to some colorful characters in Edinburgh's past. The City Hangman, or 'Doomster', live here, the last being John High who died in 1817. Earlier, in 1586, Geroge Heriot, the founder of the George Heriot School and Hospital lived here. It is also rumoured that Daneil Defoe worked here as an English secret agent in the early 18th century.
Today, Old Fishmarket Close has been gentrified, containing some cafés and the Old Fishmarket Close Apartments, popular as luxury city centre holiday apartments right in the center of Edinburgh, close to all the main Edinburgh attractions.
