Property is double glazed throughout and well insulated with central heating provided by an external heated combi boiler. Cooking facilities are provided by a range comprising a gas/electric hob and an electric oven. The newly installed kitchen includes fridge/freezer, breakfast table with stools and dishwasher with washing machine situated in the utility room.

This is a substantially renovated family home, located in the crofting village of Gearrannan on the west coast of Lewis. The house enjoys, to the west, spectaculour views of the Atlantic ocean from the kitchen window and, to the east, panoramic views of Gearrannan township and the wider Carloway area, it is within 3 minutes walk of the shore and located next to the iconic Gearrannan Blackhouse Village. A network of marked coastal walks is on your doorstep. Located some 25 miles from the island capital of Stornoway fuel is available 10 miles north in Barvas or 17 miles east in Lochs, there are café facilities in the neighbouring Gearrannan Blackhouse village, a well stocked community owned shop is located 5 minutes drive away at the Carloway Community Hub which provides an extensive range of products, including food drink craft produce and laundry facilities
for those interested in fishing, permits for fresh water angling are also available here. Sea angling trips are also available from the nearby pier at Dunan, 5 minutes away. The Gearrannan Gallery is located next door and there are multiply providers of locally grown croft produce within a 5 minute drive. Local pub is a 10 minute drive away.
