Cnoc Aluinn is a spectacular holiday home, with an outstanding view. It is a large architect-designed house, built in 2000 to take advantage of the views, with windows overlooking Slumbay Harbour and Island, and Loch Carron, as well as the garden with its own water features. It has an open plan design, real wood floors, with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. The main village is a 20 minute walk with shops, playground, shinty field, petrol station, restaurants, pubs and hotels, a medical centre, bank and library. There is also a 9 hole golf course. It is possible to walk directly from the house, or take a 15 minute drive to a choice of mountains, forests or passes for a day's hike.
